Coverage is often the only thing Industry Professionals will ever read.

In plain English -- Agents & Executives normally will not read your script unless it comes from a trusted source. Under normal circumstances, (if you're even able to get your script in to the hands of an executive or agent) they will delegate your script to their assistant or to one of their Readers who will then prepare a Coverage Report and grade it either "PASS", "CONSIDER", or "RECOMMEND". The executive then makes the decision to read the script based on the Reader's grade. The worst part is, you don't even get a chance to see the coverage to find out what the Reader said!
